HARMAN Embedded Audio, a provider of proprietary audio and voice hardware and software for partner products, has announced today the promotion of three team members who are charged with fostering continued growth of technology and brand integration into products across consumer electronics, enterprise, fitness, Internet of Things (IoT), safety/security, health care and recreation industries.
Raymond Lui has been hired as senior director of product. Lui began at HARMAN in December of 2014 as director of global product line managers for HARMAN Connected Home and later HARMAN Home Audio. He is now responsible for building and leading the new product organization team to expand business by evolving product development and strategy in close collaboration with cross-function teams globally.
Olivier Bourdeau has been promoted to director of sales. Bourdeau will manage all aspects of HARMAN Embedded Audio sales for the Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Korea and India regions, including direct interaction with key strategic accounts as well as managing the direct sales teams in these regions. He is responsible for HARMAN Embedded Audio’s existing relationships, securing new accounts and continuing to grow the business.
Nikhil Rathod has been promoted to director of sales engineering. Rathod will support and help drive global sales activities, leading a team of engineers that offer technical and product expertise to sales activities to provide a more comprehensive sales approach while working closely with sales, engineering, product and other HARMAN Embedded Audio divisions. Rathod is a seven-year veteran with the HARMAN Embedded Audio business unit, having been promoted from his global product line manager role.
