U.S. pro audio and lighting distributor Group One Ltd. has appointed Ryan Shelton as sales and support associate, where he will provide national sales support for Group One’s rep force, dealers and end-users, as well as handling product demos and educational classes for DiGiCo, XTA and MC2.
Shelton graduated summa cum laude from the University of Memphis in 2006 with a Bachelor of Music in Recording Technology. He served as audio engineer for the university’s touring ensemble Sound Fusion. In addition to engineering, he interned for an AV Design/Build firm in Memphis.
After graduation, he was hired by Quest Marketing as their regional sales representative based out of Nashville, working with several manufacturers in the pro audio market, including DiGiCo, EAW, Martin Audio, RCF, Optocore, Powersoft, Lake and many others. He also received Smaart certification in 2009.
