The recent Go Out Camping Music Festival, held in the South Chungcheong province of South Korea that attracted total attendance of at least 10,000 over three days, saw TechData PS Co. Ltd. collaborate with rental company Raffoler to implement a range of JBL Professional loudspeakers in providing sound reinforcement for the event.
The festival presented performances from a roster of artists from genres such as R&B and indie, including Car, the Garden, Daybreak and more, and also offered a range of outdoor activities including yoga, rock climbing and campfires. The stage’s limited truss height and seaside location required a system that was light in weight and easy to transportable across sandy terrain while providing the necessary output and coverage.
Specifically, the sound team paired JBL V25 line arrays joined by VTX S28 dual 18-inch subwoofers to reinforceme the low end. They also deploy JBL PRX ONE and EON ONE MK2 portable column PA loudspeakers for additional output and coverage that worked within the stage’s limited space.
HARMAN Professional Solutions reports that festival organizer Media Bling states that the system exceeded expectations and delivered a simple, seamless system with high quality and impactful sound. They added that organizers were impressed with HARMAN’s quality of service and experience with music festivals, both of which proved crucial to a successful festival weekend.
