Globe Theatre Upgrades With Void Acoustics

Diavolo Systems outfits Los Angeles venue with Nexus, Stasys, and Air Motion loudspeakers powered and controlled by Bias series amplifiers.

Originally built in 1913, The Globe Theatre in the heart of The Broadway Downtown Theatre District, has upgraded to a new Void Acoustics-based sound system, installed by Diavolo Systems.

The new system is comprised of two Nexus 6s, six Stasys Xairs with Air Motion monitors and Airten fills, all powered and controlled by Void Bias series amplifiers.

Erik Chol, Owner and CEO at The Globe Theatre, first heard a Void Acoustics sound system at DC10 in Ibiza several years ago. Fascinated by both the unique look and sound quality of this system, he decided that for The Globe, “a centennial historic theatre and performance venue, it was paramount to get the best looking speakers to match with the Baroque architecture of the venue” and “a priority to install the best sound system in town, maybe the best in the country.”
