Giveon Electronics Celebrates 75th Year As Shure Distributor

"It's a true partnership—we are more like family.” - Ahinoam Giveon

Giveon Electronics Ltd. is celebrating 75 years as a distributor of Shure products.

Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, Giveon has marketed quality audio products in Israel since 1934, and began its affiliation with Shure Incorporated just two years after being founded.

Ahinoam Giveon, managing director and son of company founder Joseph Giveon, says the relationship began when his father sent Shure a postcard in response to enjoying a Shure catalog. He was impressed by Shure’s quick response, and the relationship began. S.N. Shure and Joseph Giveon soon discovered they had similar interests, and their relationship grew.

“My father and S.N. Shure both believed in the importance of hard work, honesty in commerce, reliability, personal relationships, and high quality products,” recalls Ahinoam Giveon, during a recent visit to Shure corporate headquarters. “Shure is invested not only in selling, but in doing things properly. Shure is a company of giving, not of taking. It’s a true partnership—we are more like family.”

“The values of Mr. Shure and Joseph Giveon are living on in our continued partnership,” states Shure president and CEO Sandy LaMantia. “I would like to thank everyone at Giveon Electronics for their loyalty for the past 75 years.

“We are proud to celebrate this anniversary with Giveon, and we look forward to many more successful years together.”
