Genelec Hosting Webinar Focusing On W371 Adaptive Woofer System This Thursday (May 14)

This coming Thursday, May 14, 2020 from 1 to 2 pm U.S. EDT, Genelec is presenting an online tutorial, “GConnect Webinar — Transforming The LF Performance Of Your Room: Meet the W371,” hosted by the company’s Paul Stewart (senior technical sales manager) and Will Eggleston (marketing director). The W371 Adaptive woofer is designed to complement the 8341, 8351 and 8361 monitors to create a series of free-standing full-range monitoring options. In the webinar, Stewart and Eggleston will show attendees what the W371 does and how it works, in addition to explaining why it was created and who it’s designed for.

Stewart is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, with 25 years of experience in working with high-end production facilities and individual artists. Prior to joining Genelec, he served as a consultant providing designs ranging from equipment specification to layout and system integration.

Meanwhile, Eggleston is a 25-year veteran at Genelec. His involvement with the company’s Smart Active Monitoring range goes back to the early 2000s, when the products were first being specified. His professional history also spans radio-telephone engineering, live and studio TV audio production, commercial post-production, music recording, studio design and product development.
