Fostex Introduces TH-900mk2 Premium Stereo Headphones At 2016 NAMM Show

The new TH-900mk2 headphones from Fostex offer the same design, construction and appearance of the original TH-900, with the addition of a detachable cable system, and an optional balanced cable for improved dynamic range and reduced crosstalk.

The TH-900mk2’s neodymium magnet and Biodyna diaphragm provide high-resolution audio reproduction at any sound level.

Its rigid, non-resonant housing and its supple Japanese leather cups offer comfort with acoustic isolation.

The TH-900mk2 is finished with a Japanese Urushi lacquer and includes the ST300 stand.

The TH-900mk2’s detachable cable system allows quick replacement of a worn cable. A gold-plated ¼-inch TRS headphone cable is standard while an optional 4-pin, gold-plated XLR cable allows the use of a balanced drive headphone amplifier like the new Fostex HP-A4BL combination D/A converter and headphone amplifier.

The TH-900mk2 headphones and the new HP-A4BL combination D/A converter and headphone amplifier debuted at NAMM 2016 at American Music and Sound‘s Booth.

The new TH-900mk2 will be available for sale in March of 2016 at a MAP of $1499.99.
