Germany-based Fohhn Audio AG will be previewing the new PT-6 compact line array at the upcoming Prolight + Sound/Musikmesse show in Frankfurt (hall 8.0, stand K90).
In addition, Fohhn will be introducing the new Linea Focus Modular, the latest addition to the company’s flagship electronically steerable Linea Focus series.
The PT-6 line array unit has been specially developed to offer both powerful coverage and easy set-up. Sporting a twin coaxial speaker construction, it contains 6 x 6.5-inch long-excursion neodymium and 3 x 1.4-inch compression drivers with a specially developed HF phase EQ. Dispersion is 30 degrees vertical and 110 degrees horizontal.
The PT-6 can be stand-mounted, stacked or flown and used in a wide range of venues such as festival tents, clubs, open-air events and concert halls. For more power and greater flexibility, up to two PT-6 units can be combined using an integral safety mechanism that requires no additional tools.
Fohhn’s new Linea Focus Modular systems will now be available as three different active modules: two high-frequency units with 8 x 1-inch or 16 x 1-inch compression drivers, waveguide and horn, and a low-mid module with 32 x 4-inch long excursion speakers. The compact modules are particularly suited to large venues with challenging acoustics. Units can be freely combined and cascaded.
Currently distributed in over 30 countries, Fohhn’s worldwide customer base includes Munich Airport, the Wester Kerk (Cathedral) in Amsterdam, the Kremlin Palace in Moscow and the German Pavilion, Swiss Pavilion and the Chinese State Grid Pavilion at Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China.
