Focusrite has announced that — from April 14 to June 22 (4 pm GMT) — its Plug-in Collective community can download Capsule’s Neon sound library and instrument for Mac and Windows for free.
Neon is normally sold for $9.99 per month with access to all sounds, or $19.99 outright per sound pack. Capsule is a synthesis engine that concentrates its sound design into eight macro controls, with the instruments playable via the Capsule plug-in. It includes multiple types of oscillators, such as virtual analog, and a sample playback engine.
Capsule’s sound libraries are collections of sounds, including up to 64 instruments that have been crafted by sound designers. Each Capsule embodies a specific theme, enhancing the sonic palette of your tracks. Users can recreate the retro sound of the 1980s with Capsule’s Neon. Taking inspiration from the sound of vintage synths, dials into the realms of synth-wave, new wave, industrial electronica, and avant-garde pop.
Plug-in Collective is a community hub that brings members, Focusrite, and software brands together, offering free software downloads and discounts on high-end plug-ins. To join Plug-in Collective, members register any Focusrite hardware product and then watch for a new offer every couple of months.
