Focusrite announces that, beginning February 2, 2016, the Focusrite/Softube Time and Tone bundle (which already includes three of Softube’s plugins: TSAR-1R Reverb, Tube Delay and Saturation Knob) will be expanded to include the Drawmer S73 Intelligent Master Processor plugin.
The Drawmer S73 features an enhanced multi-band compressor sound design, fine-tuned to improve your mix and to make the choices a mastering engineer would typically do when treating your mix.
Use the Type parameter to switch between ready made mastering processing techniques, featuring multi-band compression, equalization and mid-side (M/S) processing to quickly find the sound that suits your mix the best.
Under the hood is technology created by Drawmer for the 1973 Three Band FET Stereo Compressor, a multi-band analog compressor design famous for its precision and flexibility.
Softube has carefully modeled all the characteristics of the original hardware, and have taken the concept a step further by adding sound design that adds tricks used by mastering engineers to create the Intelligent Master Processor – this is the perfect way to balance and shape your mix, and get great results fast.
All Focusrite Clarett, Scarlett and Saffire owners who registered on or after September 1, 2015, are eligible to download the bundle, and it is available with any new purchase of those interface ranges. The Drawmer plugin, with a value of $99, brings the total bundle value to $297.
