Charlie Russell, Paul Gallo and Matt Cadarette join company

Fishman recently added new staff members for its Product Management and Quality Assurance teams.

Appointed as senior product manager, Charlie Russell has worked in product management, product marketing and sales for brands such as Toshiba, IBM and Avid in the computer, television, film software and telecommunications industries.

He had leadership roles in the launch of Toshiba Satellite computers and Avid’s Media Composer Adrenaline. He combines a degree in electrical engineering with an avid interest in playing guitar, writing and recording music in his home studio.

Also named as senior product manager, Paul Gallo got his start at the Lexicon/Harman Specialty Group developing multi-effect processors, high-end digital reverb systems and home theater surround decoders and amplifiers for the Lexicon and Mark Levinson brands.

He then joined Harmonix, developers of the “Rock Band” video game franchise, where he managed hardware licensing and assisted in the development of video controllers. Prior to joining Fishman, Gallo was product manager at Alto Professional, developing active loudspeakers, compact mixers and wireless audio products.

Rounding out the new appointments is Matt Cadarette, serving as software quality assurance manager. A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a B.A. in Music Business-Management, Cadarette worked in the financial services industry as an analyst and relationship manager prior to joining Fishman.

He has recorded and toured professionally as a guitarist and bassist throughout America and Asia. He also gives guitar and music theory lessons in addition to providing guitar repair services.
