FBT Audio (UK) Ltd has been appointed as the exclusive distributor of the Apex CloudPower series of amplifiers in the UK and Ireland.
CloudPower amplifiers offer browser-based operation via the cloud and they also incorporate proprietary GlidePath architecture that integrates the amplifier and DSP circuits in a design intended to provide measurable reductions in distortion and improved audio performance. The range comprises four Class-D models, all with four channels in a 1RU package, including the CP354 (350 watts per channel), CP704 (700 WPC), CP1504 (1,000 WPC) and CP3004 (3,000 WPC).
All can also run in low impedance down to 2 ohms or 70/100-volt line configuration. Also on board DSP plus a built-in WiFi hotspot designed for simple setup, control and monitoring either locally using any HTML5 capable browser (Mac, PC, iOS or Android) or off-site using the built-in LAN connection.
