Eventide Announces Software Version 1.1 For H9000 & H9000R Multi-Effects Processors

Algorithms, surround tools, universal DAW support, updated emote control software and support for H9000R are included in the update.

At the ongoing AES convention in New York, Eventide Audio (booth 222) has released a software update for its flagship multi-effects processors, the H9000 and H9000R, available now as a free download for H9000 owners.

The Version 1.1 software update provides vintage effects and a new surround tool, and the companion emote control software V1.1 update supports the most popular DAWs and the H9000R.

Eventide’s multi-effects processors, the H9000 and the H9000R, differ slightly in functionality and pricing. The H9000 with the full front panel user interface is priced at $6,999, while the blank front panel H9000R requires the full-featured emote V1.1 update and is available for $4,999.

H9000 Version 1.1 software includes a new bank of H9000 Vintage Emulations including select Eventide effects: H3000 Micropitch, Unitide, SP2016 Reverb, Instant Phaser Mk II and Instant Flanger Mk II, and the H9 bank includes the new HotSawz algorithm. A new 3D Tools bank that takes advantage of the H9000’s multichannel architecture, including the company’s first new surround algorithm, 5.1 Panner.

Additional functionality in Version 1.1 allows each FX chain to support up to 32 channels of I/O routing (the previous limit was 8 per FX chain), the ability to map parameters to external controllers or MIDI through emote, support for DAW Automation and MAC/Windows/VST/AU/AAX support.
