Turbosound will present its new Flashline five-way large scale line array loudspeaker system to the European market at the Konig-Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany, on March 14, 2012, ahead of the public launch at the Prolight+Sound exhibition in Frankfurt a week later.
“We have well over 120 confirmed key decision makers attending this milestone event,” says managing director Simon Blackwood, “from all aspects of the industry – engineers, rental companies, consultants and systems techs – who have expressed interest in our latest class-leading festival and arena level concert sound technology.”
Guests will have an opportunity to see how the PA rigs and sounds in a representative arena environment, as well as a close-up hands-on look at details of the system’s components including the eleven-drive-unit line array, and DSP-based amplification package built on the Lab.gruppen PLM platform with Lake processing and Dante networking.
Additional events are already planned for the Asian region and the American continent later in the year.
Flashline comprises modular line array loudspeaker elements, subwoofers, rigging hardware, and amplifier racks.
The power capability of the four frequency bands in the TFS-900H line array cabinet is matched to each channel of the 20000DP four-channel DSP-based amplifier, resulting in an optimized energy transfer to each of the eleven dedicated transducers.
Flashline makes extensive use of paper cone transducers to deliver vocal frequencies with power and authority, while the new generation Dendritic waveguides insure that a phase coherent wavefront reaches all audience members with uniform frequency response.
