EAW Introduces New MKC Coaxial Loudspeakers

Available in four models (MKC50, MKC60, MKC80 and MKC120) designed to provide consistent tonality for a variety of applications, even at higher output levels.

Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) has announced the new MKC Series of two-way coaxial loudspeakers available in four models (MKC50, MKC60, MKC80 and MKC120) designed to provide consistent tonality for a variety of applications, even at higher output levels.

The MKC50 and MKC60 also offer a stage monitor angle while the MKC80 and MKC120 have pole mounts. All are available with multitap transformer options for distributed and fill systems.

The loudspeakers are equipped with the company’s proprietary Focusing and Dyno technology as well as beamwidth matched crossovers joined by propriety concentric technology a new port design (MKC50 and MKC60) and CSA technology (MKC80 and MKC120). Greybox settings for each model also come preloaded with UXA4401 and UXA4403 amplifiers that are designed to optimize performance.

A pan & tilt bracket ships with the MKC50 and MKC60, with additional deployment options including ceiling brackets. MKC80 and MKC120 accessories include a U-Bracket, ceiling bracket and pan & tilt bracket. Black and white colors are offered as standard, and weather resistance when used under cover also makes the MKC line fit for temporary outdoor use. Additional models are available for users with long-term outdoor installations.
