DPA Launches New “We Love Live” Support Campaign For Artists & Venues

Related “Sharing is Caring” social media competition will award pairs of winners the DPA gear of their choice valued up to $800.

DPA Microphones has announced the launch of “We Love Live” a new campaign focused on helping artists and venues jumpstart their entrance back into live performance following the difficulties of the past two years.

Further, the company has also set up a “Sharing is Caring” social media competition on its Facebook and Instagram pages. Entrants have until April 8 to tag a friend in the comments section of the competition announcement posts. Two pairs of winners will be chosen, one pair from Facebook and one pair from Instagram, with both the entrant and their tagged friend winning DPA gear of their choice, worth up to €750 (more than $820 USD) each.

“It’s been a tough couple of years for the live industry, so we want to show them our support,” says Anne Berggrein, vice president of marketing at DPA Microphones. “The ‘We Love Live’ campaign is our way of celebrating the return of the live event industry. We want to keep celebrating the return of live concerts and events, so we are looking into other opportunities that will enable us give back even more to the live industry, which is at the heart of DPA.”

Competition announcement posts can be found on Facebook at @dpamicrophones and Instagram at @dpa_microphones. Only one friend can be tagged per comment. Winners will be chosen by random draw and announced on each platform after the contest closes on April 8. Once announced, winners can customize their mic selection to meet specific needs, such as vocal or instrument mics.
