Noted front of house engineer and Live Sound International/ProSoundWeb contributor Jim Yakabuski has launched a new YouTube channel presenting videos offering tips, tricks and techniques that Jim’s learned and developed over more than 35 years as a live sound engineer in working with artists such Van Halen, Journey, Avril Lavigne, Peter Frampton, and many others.
In this initial episode, Jim expounds on his LSI/PSW article entitled Dueling Guitars in presenting an interesting and effective routing technique that he likes to employ when there’s more than one guitar player in a band. Enjoy, and look for more from Jim and Talkin’ Yak Live soon.
