dBTechnologies Unveiling Latest-Generation VIO Loudspeakers At 2020 NAMM Show

Newly-engineered platform designed to combine best attributes of traditional line arrays with those of point-source systems.

dBTechnologies is debuting the latest addition to the VIO loudspeaker line at the NAMM 2020 show in Anaheim later this week (booth #18219).

The enclosures are a hybrid amalgamation of technology, built upon a newly-engineered platform designed to combine the best attributes of traditional line arrays with those of point-source systems,

“The scalability this new VIO Series offers in both the horizontal and vertical plane dramatically strengthens our product line,” states dBTechnologies national sales manager Colin Studybaker. “We’re excited to have added these new products to our catalog, as they will expand our capabilities in the permanent install, portable PA, and touring market.”

The new VIO loudspeakers offer an asymmetrical horn design and high-speed rigging, well as remote control and monitoring facilitated via dBTechnologies’ Aurora Net software. Stand-alone control and monitoring is enabled with the help of an onboard OLED screen, while built-in IR communication capabilities found within each device can be used to link the arrayed enclosures without the use of an eEhernet cable.

NAMM 2020 attendees will also be able to see and hear the new VIO products at the Loudspeaker System Showcase presented by Live Sound International and ProSoundWeb in the Arena. dBTech will be hosting individual demo sessions on Thursday, January 16 at 10:20 am; Friday, January 17 at 12:40 pm; and Saturday, January 18 at 5 pm, in addition to being featured in the Round Robin sessions each day.
