d&b is working with BH Audio, audio provider for the ongoing Ravenna Festival in Italy, to present two free virtual events. The annual festival, which kicked off June 21 and continues to July 30, looks much different this year due to Covid-19 restrictions, with the organizers working with BH Audio on implementing a d&b audiotechnik Soundscape immersive system. (Read more about it here.) Sessions include:
Facebook Premiere: Wednesday, July 15, 17.00 CEST
Ralf Zuleeg of d&b will be on Facebook Live talking to Massimo Carli and Giulia Artemisia from BH Audio about the sound at this year’s festival, and how d&b Soundscape is helping to deliver music from socially distanced orchestras to the socially distanced audiences and beyond. Find out more here.
Virtual Open House: Monday, July 20 (two sessions, times TBA)
Join d&b’s Ralf Zuleeg on a Zoom chat with Massimo Carli and Giulia Artemisia from BH Audio as they talk about the technical details of the festival sound systems and answer questions.
These sessions are designed to offer a “deep dive” into the practical and technical solutions required for the classical festival in the times of social distanced orchestras, audiences, and the new requirements for live streaming.
