Clear-Com Communication Systems has announced the appointment of Dan Muchmore as its new Regional Sales Manager for the U.K. and Ireland, driving promotion and sales activities of Clear-Com intercom product lines and further building on the company’s strong relationships with its customers, distributors and system integrators.

Hailing from an installation and production background, Muchmore brings 14 years of deep audio industry experience to his position at Clear-Com, with more than 11 years directly serving the EMEA market.
He brings an extensive list of contacts in the U.K. and Ireland markets to his new role, strengthening relationships with Clear-Com’s current customer database and introducing new contacts in the broadcast, post-production and reseller sectors to the company’s diverse product line.
Muchmore comes to Clear-Com from Avid Technology, where over the course of 11 years, he was promoted to various technical support and professional service roles, most recently serving as Pro Audio Post Sales Manager to the U.K. and Ireland.
While at Avid, Muchmore also served as project manager on the audio side of several Avid System Solution projects for key customers, including BBC Pacific Quay, RTÉ Ireland, YLE Finlandia and the Abu Dhabi Media Zone.
