Rane recently shipped the first HAL4 and EXP7x devices, and included in the boxes (as well as now on Rane’s website), is new Halogen 4.0 software that adds support for the Web Controls feature in all HAL units.
A firmware update to existing HAL devices enables customizable web pages to be created within Halogen.
The custom page(s) can be run on any smart phone, tablet or computer web browser. No iTunes store or app installs required.
To make it even more attractive, the new Halogen 4.0 software is free.
