Cheryl Walton Joins USAV As Director Of Business Development

Industry veteran focusing on expanding communication and supporting the organization's integrators as well as driving membership growth.

USAV, a division of PSA, has announced the hiring of Cheryl Walton, CTS, as director of business development, focusing on expanding communication and supporting the organization’s integrators as well as driving membership growth.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Cheryl to the USAV team,” says Patrick Whipkey, vice president of USAV. “She has years of industry knowledge and strong relationships that will prove vital as we continue to expand internationally. “

Walton has 16 years of experience in the AV industry and most recently served as a regional account manager at Herman Pro AV. She also spent 10 years at Kramer Electronics US where she held various sales management positions and worked with integrators. Both Herman Pro AV and Kramer Electronics US are part of USAV as a preferred manufacturing partner and sponsor, respectively.

“Joining Patrick and the USAV team is a wonderful opportunity and I look forward to jumping right in,” Walton states. “I’m excited to continue in an industry I’m so passionate about and eager to support USAV integrators and partners in achieving their goals.”

In addition to her years of experience and CTS certification, Walton is also an active member of the AVIXA Women’s Council.
