The SMA-12 and SMA-15 are 2-way powered speakers that include a single woofer, 12" or 15", and a high frequency, horn style compression driver.

Atlas Sound is proud to introduce a new series of powered and passive surface mount speakers. These new speakers deliver outstanding power output and high fidelity sound in a durable enclosure that can be used in a variety of applications including cafeterias, classrooms, restaurants/bars, DJ’s, and other applications where sound reinforcement of live or recorded music or vocals are required.

The SMA-12 and SMA-15 are 2-way powered speakers that include a single woofer, 12” or 15”, and a high frequency, horn style compression driver. Each unit features an integrated class-D amplifier that includes RCA and XLR mic inputs.

The SMA-12 and SMA-15 also feature a Speak-On output for connecting to a passive SMP model. The SMP-12 and SMP-15 are passive models that feature the same 2-way design as the powered versions but are designed to be used in conjunction with a powered SMA version. Each cabinet includes a Speak-On connector for connecting to the powered version making them easy to install and share a source with.

“There are many installation scenarios in the market today where an amplified speaker is the best option”, said John Ivey Senior Vice President of Sales. “As we at Atlas Sound continue to strive to provide our customers the products they need to win bids and do their jobs successfully, we recognized that having a powered speaker option was critical. The new SMA and SMP speakers address this hole in our product lineup so now our customers can present an Atlas solution where they had none before.”
