At the 2010 Winter NAMM show, Turbosound introduced the Milan MI5, a powered loudspeaker with an integrated 450-watt Class D amplifier and onboard digital signal processing.

The sophisticated DSP provides frequency-dependent limiting that enhances audio quality while also offering drive unit protection.

A two-channel mixer incorporated in the Milan MI5 accepts both mic and line inputs on jack/XLR to easily balance all instruments and music sources, while the Mix-Out function provides versatility to daisy-chain to further Milan cabinets.

In addition to a range of PA applications, the MI5 is also suited as a keyboard amp or wedge monitor, with a 43-degree wedge angle derived from the company’s popular TFM-450 monitor wedge.

Milan MI5 also benefits from Turbosound acoustics technology – specifically, a Converging Elliptical Waveguide that enhances intelligibility and coverage over a wide audience area.

A dual-angle pole holder which provides an additional 12 degrees of downward tilt.

Turbosound is distributed in the U.S. by American Music and Sound.

Milan MI5 Overview:
• Efficient 450-watt Class D amplifier
• Two channel mixer with mic and line inputs
• Frequency dependent limiting
• 90-degree by 60-degree Converging Elliptical Waveguide
