By PSW Staff • October 12, 2017 Schertler's DIGIT BABY sound reinforcement system. Schertler announces the release of the portable DIGIT BABY sound reinforcement system. Following the outstanding response to the DIGIT ONE and TWO loudspeaker series, the product range is enriched with the arrival of DIGIT BABY, a complete loudspeaker system comprising 200 watt RMS active subwoofer, 100 watt RMS satellite and 4-channel mixer with internal digital reverb. The sub (with 8-inch loudspeaker) amplifies the passive satellite and delivers the warm, rich bass response that is typical of SR. The satellite is equipped with 2×4-inch loudspeakers and a compression driver. DIGIT BABY’s built-in digital Class D amplifier features SR’s specially designed switching power supply. Developed with small/medium size venues and performance applications in mind, such as piano bars, solo instrumentalists and jazz bands, DIGIT BABY is also suitable for the amplification of percussion and small wind instruments. Every aspect has been carefully researched and developed, from the switching power supply and digital amplifiers, to the wooden cabinets. The DIGIT series reinforces the company’s commitment to creating and developing sound reinforcement systems that always reflect the needs of the market. Featuring compact dimensions and lighter weight, the transport friendly systems are suitable for a range of applications. DIGIT BABY EXTENSION, featuring the same specifications as DIGIT BABY, but without the incorporated mixer, is a perfect complement to DIGIT BABY, doubling the power capability as well as providing a stereo configuration. It is also highly effective when used as a stand-alone setup comprising one or two loudspeakers connected to an external mixer or to a player. Now available at retail price of Euro 595 inclusive of VAT and free shipment.
