Awarded by the Provincial government and the BC Division of Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters trade and industry association, Radial was among over 400 nominated businesses being considered for 12 award categories. This is the first nomination and win for Radial for a BC Export Award. Radial president Peter Janis accepted the award presented on November 20th in Vancouver. “Radial’s market truly is the world-wide marketplace and everything we do keeps a keen eye on how best to deliver to that market. We’ve been going about our business for 25 years and are known world-wide in professional music industry circles but it’s a great feeling to be acknowledged closer to home,” says Janis. The company that started out specializing in audio cable products began building its reputation with the release of its first direct box, the Radial JDI in 1996. The company has since launched hundreds of audio interface products and become the parent company to several other brands including Primacoustic, Reamp and Tonebone. Radial also recently purchased Jensen Transformers and Hafler to expand its markets. Each brand is marketed separately, while sharing administration and warehousing costs. All Radial electronic products are conceived, designed and ultimately produced and assembled in house in the 25,000 square foot Port Coquitlam facility, exporting products to over 60 countries. Under just the Radial and Tonebone brands, the company ships nearly 100,000 electronic products a year with only one part-time service technician for repairs. With a staff of 75 and plans for more growth, Radial is constantly canvassing for talented people to join the team. The management team at Radial Engineering.
