By PSW Staff • April 20, 2017 Audio-Technica's ATW-1366 System 10 PRO rack-mount digital wireless system with boundary microphone/transmitters Audio-Technica is now shipping two new packaged configurations of its System 10 PRO rack-mount digital wireless system: ATW-1366 System 10 PRO rack-mount digital wireless system with boundary microphone/transmitter and ATW-1377 rack-mount digital wireless system with microphone desk stand transmitter. Previously, the ATW-T1006 System 10 boundary microphone/transmitter and ATW-T1007 System 10 microphone desk stand transmitter were available as individual components, as integrators/contractors generally source these pieces separately to configure a system to spec. To simplify the ordering process, Audio-Technica has decided to offer the transmitters and receivers together as turnkey packages. The ATW-1366 configuration includes ATW-RC13 rack-mount receiver chassis, two ATW-RU13 receiver units and two ATW-T1006 System 10 boundary microphones/transmitters. The ATW-1377 configuration includes ATW-RC13 rack-mount receiver chassis, two ATW-RU13 receiver units and two ATW-T1007 System 10 microphone desk stand transmitters. Gary Boss, marketing director, Professional Markets, Audio-Technica U.S. states, “When we originally introduced the ATW-T1006 and ATW-T1007 transmitters, we anticipated that they would be used primarily by dedicated installers and integrators who are used to buying component-based wireless solutions. After launch we saw an increase in requests from DIY users and customers who prefer the convenience and trouble-free option of ordering complete packaged systems ready to go out of the box.” Like all System 10 models, the System 10 PRO rack-mount operates in the 2.4 GHz range, keeping it free not only from TV interference but also from the uncertain regulatory future facing the TV bands. Its durable rack-mount chassis houses one or two receiver units that can be operated locally within the chassis or be removed and mounted remotely (up to 300 feet away) via Ethernet cable. This approach to delivering wireless increases the versatility of the system while also enhancing wave propagation – without the expense of adding an antenna distributor and corresponding cables. Additionally, up to five System 10 PRO chassis (10 receivers) can be linked together using the RJ12 cable included with each system, creating a stable multichannel system with the simultaneous use of up to 10 channels. The ATW-1366 and ATW-1377 System 10 PRO configurations are now available as follows: ATW-1366 System 10 PRO: $1,349.00 ATW-1377 System 10 PRO: $1,249.00 Audio-Technica Tagged with: Audio-Technica conferencing Microphones Product Wireless · all topics Subscribe to Live Sound International Subscribe to Live Sound International magazine.
