CAD Audio Introduces New CADLive Microphones For Percussion & Guitar Cabinets

At the upcoming NAMM show in Anaheim, CAD Audio is unveiling the new CADLive D80, D82 and D84 microphones, designed for miking guitar cabinets and percussion instruments.

The D80 is a large-diaphragm moving coil dynamic design providing high output combined with a tight supercardioid polar pattern for quality performance even on the loudest stages.

A moving ribbon design with a figure-8 pattern, the D82 combines true ribbon “warmth” with a clarity and articulation. Frequency response is 30 Hz-20 kHz and max SPL rating is 140 dB at 100 Hz so that it too excels in high-volume environments.

The D84 is a large-diaphragm condenser in a practical design with a full yet transparent, “true-to-life sound. It has internal shock mounting to facilitate placement and positioning.

CADLive mics can be used individually or in tandem to create unique custom sounds for miking guitar and percussion.

See the new CADLive mics at booth #6632 at Winter NAMM 2014 in Anaheim.
