BTX has announced a free software solution to make it easier for customers to order and configure the company’s line of wall plates and panels.
BTX’s ordering and configuration application is intended to be up and runnign within minutes of installation, whether the user is an administrator or an engineer.
Users simply download and register BTX Pro Plate & Panel Designer software.
They then drag a wall plate or rack panel from BTX’s product library and then start designing and configuring. Connector options appear in a menu and users just drag-and-drop their choices to the desired spot on the plate or panel.
Users may can optional engraving if desired, and then they simply approve the price shown in real time on the screen and clicks ‘Enter’ to complete the order.
Through the software, BTX customers have access to connectors from manufacturers like Neutrik and Switchcraft, in addition to BTX’s own connectors.

The plate and panel software solution is now available for free download at www.btx.com, and requires a Windows computer.
