Behringer has announced two new Eurolive active loudspeakers, the B110D and B108D, both compact and outfitted with onboard Class D amplifiers.
The B110D (10-inch) and B108D (8-inch) include an ultra-low noise, balanced XLR Mic/TRS line input with dedicated volume control and clip LED. Tone shaping is handled via an optimized 2-band EQ, and an integrated sound processor provides system control, as well as loudspeaker protection.
Long-excursion low-frequency drivers are employed for solid bass and smooth midrange, along with a 1.35-inch aluminum-diaphragm compression-driver mounted on an ultra-wide dispersion, large-format, exponential horn.
The B110D and B108D offer convenient expandability, providing the basis for a sound system that can grow as coverage requirements change. A line output lets users link additional systems to form a larger array, and the built-in 35 mm pole socket allows mounting on speaker stands at optimal height for maximum coverage. They can also be used as a monitor wedge.
“These new B110D and B108D loudspeakers are at the head of our ever-evolving portable live sound class,” says Frank Theilmann, Music Group AVP of Conception. “They deliver the power and versatility our customers want and need, in a lightweight package – and at an unbelievable price point.”
The B110D and B108D are available at a suggested U.S. MAP of $199.99 and $179.99 respectively, and are covered by MUSIC Group’s 3-Year Limited Warranty Program.
