BASSBOSS Introduces SSP215-MKII Low-Profile Powered Subwoofer

Loaded with dual 15-inch long-excursion neodymium woofers in a direct radiating design and housed in a vented enclosure measuring 17.5 x 48 x 29.5 inches (HxWxD).

BASSBOSS has announced the debut of the SSP215-MKII a new low-profile powered subwoofer equipped with dual 15-inch long-excursion neodymium woofers in a direct radiating design optimally tuned for low-frequency response and housed in a vented enclosure measuring 17.5 x 48 x 29.5 inches (HxWxD).

The SSP215-MKII has a stated frequency response of -3 dB at 35 Hz. It’s designed to fit under low stages and to be flown from low ceilings, with 16 integrated M10 fly points offering added flexibility in flown applications.

The 15-inch woofers have 4-inch voice coils and stated a stated power handling rating of 1500 watts RMS and 3000 watts program. The onboard amplifier is stated as capable of delivering 4000 watts RMS, continuous. It’s equipped with a digital signal processor that provides high-pass, low-pass and limiting functions as well as integrating the alignment with all other BASSBOSS subs and tops.

The enclosure has tough black textured polyurea coating and four large rubber feet and corresponding recesses in the top to facilitate interlocking the boxes with each other and also with the BASSBOSS SSP218 powered subwoofer when stacked. They also interlock with the transport carts.

The woofers are protected by powder-coated, perforated steel grilles. A top-mounted pole socket provides for mid-high loudspeakers to be mounted on a straight speaker pole above the subwoofer.
