Avlex, North American distributor of MIPRO products, has introduced an expansion to the MIPRO 2400 Series: the new ACT-2412A dual channel and ACT-2414A quad channel wireless receivers, both of which operate in the 2.4 GHz ISM band.
The new receivers are outfitted with digital FSK modulation circuitry designed to provide strong RF signal stability and extended range. They employ frequency hopping spread spectrum technology utilizing four frequencies for each channel, along with an adaptive tracking algorithm that avoids interference from 2.4 GHz products on channels 1, 6, and 11.
In addition, they have dual-tuner true digital diversity reception and are stated as capable of delivering up to 12 compatible simultaneous channel operation at receiving distances up to 100 meters (330 feet) with no dropouts.
Both are housed in 1U packages and offer removable front or rear mountable antennas with built-in cascade antenna combining. There are also optionally available remote antennas for both dual and quad channel configurations.
The receivers are designed to work with three MIPRO transmitters: ACT-24HC (handheld condenser), ACT-24TC (bodypack supplied with MU-54 lav mic), and MT-24 (bodypack for musicians).
The new MIPRO ACT-2412A dual channel (MSRP $430) and ACT-2414A quad channel (MSRP $760) receivers are now shipping.
