Avid Introduces New VENUE | Stage 48 I/O Rack

Fixed-format remote stage rack connects with VENUE | S6L mix/recording systems and is designed to provide the same performance as its siblings but at a competitive price point.

Avid has announced the introduction of the Avid VENUE | Stage 48, a new fixed-format remote I/O stage rack for medium- and large-scale live sound productions that connects with VENUE | S6L mix/recording systems.

Stage 48 is equipped with the same preamp design of the VENUE | Stage 64, Stage 32, Local 16, and S6L consoles. As a fixed-configuration analog in and analog out device, it’s designed to provide users with the same performance quality but at a more competitive price point.

Overview:
48 mic preamps
24 analog outputs
2 Ethernet AVB ports
2 fiber AVB ports
MADI coaxial output split directly from the preamps with 48 channels at 96 kHz, redundant 48 channels at 48 kHz

“Avid continues to drive innovation for the live sound market, challenging our team to create a new stage box that was more cost effective and uses the same components and celebrated sound of Stage 64,” says Robb Allan, senior principal product manager, Live Sound at Avid. “VENUE | Stage 48 is the result and whether it’s broadcast, large concerts, Broadway shows, corporate AV or houses of worship, the VENUE | Stage 48 Rack is perfect anywhere that exceptional audio quality is needed.”
