Audix has announced that Steve Young, CTS and a 20-plus year veteran in pro audio manufacturing, has joined the company as its new director of U.S. sales.
Young was most recently served as the director of large venue sales for Biamp/Community Loudspeakers, and prior to that he was VP of sales and marketing at AtlasIED and was with Behringer for the launch of the X32 digital mixer.
“Singing on stage, experiencing worship, learning remotely in a virtual classroom or taking in an important meeting online – all of these experiences are just better with Audix microphones,” says Young. “With Audix’s USA-based manufacturing and engineering, we have the resources in-house for fast reaction to market demand. I look forward to working with new and existing Audix customers to grow our collective business.”
