Audio-Technica has announced the introduction of the AT8175, a new pop filter designed for up-close use to assist in reducing excessive pressures on the element of the company’s 20 Series side-address microphones.
The AT8175 offers a sleek design and clips on the front of 20 Series mics. It provides added protection against plosive consonants (such as “p’s” and “b’s,” etc.), without compromising audio quality, and is compatible with the following models:

AT2020USB-X cardioid condenser USB
AT2035 cardioid condenser
AT2050 multi-pattern condenser
AT2020USB+ cardioid condenser USB
The AT8175 measures 74 mm (2.9 in) × 63 mm (2.5 in) × 88 mm (3.5 in) and has a weight of 31.1 g (1.1 oz). It’s available now with U.S. MAP pricing of $24.
