Audio-Technica Hosts Event With Parsons Audio At The Record Company In Boston

In attendance were a number of students and young audio professionals

Audio-Technica recently held a product demonstration and networking event in Boston in collaboration with Parsons Audio/

The session took place at The Record Company, a community-based studio committed jointly to the innovation and revitalization of youth music education and the advancement of independent record-making.

The event was a hands-on product demonstration featuring Audio-Technica headphones and microphones used in a mock session, such as ATH-M30 headphones, AT4047/SV studio microphone, AT4060 tube microphone, ATM450 instrument microphone, ATM510 dynamic vocal microphone and AT4081 bidirectional ribbon microphone, along with networking, raffles, catering and gift bags featuring Audio-Technica gear.

In attendance were a number of students and young audio professionals, as well as personnel from Parsons Audio and The Record Company, Audio-Technica’s Roxanne Ricks and Doug Swan, and Bill House of Performer Magazine.

In addition to some smaller prizes, the Grand Prize Drawing was for a pair of ATH-M30 headphones, an ATM510 microphone and six hours of studio time at The Record Company.

Doug Swan, Audio-Technica director of sales & marketing, MI-Pro, says, “It was inspiring to be involved with helping students learn and practice recording techniques. We had a successful and fun day in the mock sessions.

“We were honored to help out The Record Company, a non-profit studio for youth music education and independent musicians.”
