Audient has announced that Tim Jones has joined its team to provide business development and support for its line of consoles in the U.S.
Previously, Jones served as a staff engineer at Barefoot Recording (formerly Crystal Industries) in Los Angeles and has also freelanced at several noted Hollywood studios over the years, and as a result, is comfortable working with small production rooms up to sprawling multi-studio facilities.
A musician and California State University graduate, he originally cut his teeth on the Audient console at Fullerton College, where he begain his music education. Later he built his own 140-square-meter studio in a converted industrial warehouse, where he writes and produces using his own ASP4816 console.
“I’m honored to help build the brand that has been an integral part of my workflow as a producer/engineer,” Jones says.
