New MFA2xx multi-function amplifiers from AUDAC are available with two power output options.

AUDAC has announced the introduction of new MFA2xx multi-function power amplifiers, designed for small- to medium-sized installations and offering compatibility with AUDAC Touch 2 as well being equipped with an integrated SourceCon input slot.

The new MFA series amplifiers are available with stated output of 80 or 160 watts, and they also include a line-out connection for scaling the output power to meet both small- and large-scale project requirements. Users can create one large zone or add a second stereo zone using the line out, with individual input and volume control controlled through the front panel, TCP/IP, or AUDAC Touch 2.

The amplifiers are also equipped with proprietary WaveDynamics audio processing technology that can be set up and controlled via the WaveDynamics configurator. MFA models come with the same interface as the company’s SMA, SMQ, PMQ and XMP series, enabling enhanced settings on the front of the amplifier through a 2.8-inch graphical display or to import configuration files from a USB.

Besides RS232 & RS485 connection, the MFA also provides for optional Dante networking expansion. Inputs include balanced mic/line through a three-pin terminal block, unbalanced stereo line, and a SourceCon module slot to directly integrate streaming services and other audio player options. Both models are housed in a compact tabletop mountable enclosure, with optional 19-inch installation brackets available for rack mounting.

A.C. ProMedia recently announced its partnership with AUDAC as the exclusive distributor of the company’s products in North America, managing sales, distribution, and service from its offices in Toronto. Go here for more specifics about the new MFA series.
