Applied Research & Technology (ART) Releases New BT-DI Bluetooth Direct Box

Designed to connect loudspeakers that don't have Bluetooth compatibility to wireless devices such as computers, phones, and tablets; includes onboard phantom power.

Applied Research & Technology (ART), a division of Yorkville Sound, has introduced the BT-DI, a new Bluetooth direct box that’s designed for those who work wirelessly on stage and in the studio.

The BT-DI is designed to connect loudspeakers that don’t have Bluetooth compatibility to wireless devices such as computers, phones, and tablets. Onboard phantom power enables eliminating the need for a power cable.

“The BT-DI adds yet another layer to the wireless revolution,’ says Jeff Cowling, Yorkville Sound vice president of sales & marketing, “Without the need for AC power and long wires connecting a sound source, the BT-DI is the centerpiece of a wireless, unencumbered creative space.
