Apogee Introduces New ONE For Mac Audio Interface

Streamlined for Mac-only use, offers same sound quality and essential functionality as Apogee ONE for iPad & Mac

At the Prolight + Sound show in Frankfurt, Apogee Electronics has introduced a new member to its ONE family, ONE for Mac, a 2 input by 2 output USB audio interface/microphone.

The third generation in the ONE family, ONE for Mac offers the same sound quality and essential functionality as the Apogee ONE for iPad & Mac. Now streamlined for Mac-only use, (it does not include iOS cable, power supply or battery operation), ONE for Mac is available for $249 USD—with an optional iOS connectivity kit sold separately.

Using Apogee’s AD/DA conversion and mic preamp technology, ONE can be used to produce music, podcast, and voice-over recordings while also delivering sound to headphones for mixing or hi-fi listening. It works with GarageBand, Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, Ableton or any Core Audio compatible application.

Apogee ONE for Mac users have access to special offers on their choice of any plugins from Waves. Those who purchase ONE for Mac from an authorized dealer and register are eligible to receive a discount code good for 25 percent off a single plugin or 35 percent off any Waves bundle, plus an additional $100 voucher that can be used towards the next Waves plugin purchase. These offers can also be applied to any special deals from Waves.
