Allen & Heath has announced a new 64 x 64 MADI (48/96 kHz) interface card for its SQ Series of mixing consoles, opening them up to additional streaming applications by providing integration with broadcast and recording systems, OB vans and third-party consoles.
“With its easy USB streaming and Dante options, SQ is already an ideal console for pro streaming and AV production applications where there’s a need for big features in a compact footprint,” says Keith Johnson, SQ Product Manager. “Now, answering calls from broadcast engineers, the new SQ MADI card allows more pro broadcast applications to benefit from SQ’s powerhouse feature set and super-fast workflow.”
The new SQ MADI option card is expected to ship during December with a recommended retail price of $599USD / €499EUR. It joins existing Dante, SLink and WAVES option cards. Go here for more specifics.
