ADAM Audio has introduced the new T8V, the latest addition to its T-Series line of professional studio monitors that’s equipped with an 8-inch woofer and onboard class D amplification.
A proprietary U-ART tweeter (Unique Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter) is mated to a waveguide with the same dispersion-control attributes as the HPS waveguide in the company’s S Series. The amplifiers for tweeter and woofer are specified to deliver 20 watts and 70 watts, respectively. Frequency response is stated to extend down to 33 Hz and SPL is stated as 118 dB per pair.
All T Series models offer a beveled cabinet design, rear-firing bass reflex port, built-in DSP-controlled driver crossovers and equalization, and multi-way analog connections. And, all are compatible with the T10S subwoofer.
