ADAM Audio has announced that their new AX-Series monitors are slated for introduction at Prolight + Sound 2010 in Frankfurt.
The AX-Series monitors from ADAM Audio feature the company’s X-ART tweeter, new woofers and amplifiers, and re-designed speaker cabinets.
Following ADAM’s A and SX-Series monitor systems, the AX Series includes four high performance systems.
These range from the ultra-compact A3X to the larger A5X, A7X and A8X systems.
The X-ART tweeter is more efficient and handles higher SPLs along with a frequency response up to 50kHz.
All AX-Series woofers and amplifiers have been re-engineered with larger voice-coils and more powerful amplifiers for greater linear excursion and greater output. All redesigned cabinets feature twin bass reflex ports.
AX-Series speakers will be available in May 2010.
