1 SOUND has announced that it is inviting attendees at the upcoming 2022 AES Convention in New York City (October 19-20) to visit its headquarters in nearby New Jersey for a tour of its manufacturing operation and to experience private product demonstrations led by company founder/president Lou Mannarino.

Three of the company’s newest products will be highlighted, including the Contour CT28 compact loudspeaker as well as the SUB2112 and the MiniSUB5 subwoofers.
The Contour CT28 is a horn-loaded point source loudspeaker with a stated maximum SPL of 145 dB with response down to 70 Hz and directivity of 100 by 50 degrees (HxV). Measuring just 13 inches wide, it incorporates four coaxial compression drivers joined by eight cone woofers. The fabric grille on the front can be removed for a cleaner look, with rigging hardware and accessories that include a horizontal mounting bracket, a wall bracket, and an adjustable rigging mount.
The SUB2112 is a two-way, bi-amped subwoofer loaded with a 21-inch cone driver with stated power handling of 4,000 watts as well as dual 12-inch drivers with power handling of 3,200 watts. Stated frequency response is 25 to 160 Hz and maximum SPL is 137 dB. The cabinet is outfitted with a dozen (12) M8 rigging points.
As its name suggests, the MiniSUB5 compact discreet subwoofer utilizing a single 5-inch cone driver in a 20-inches-square package. Stated frequency resonse is 36 to 160 Hz and maximum SPL is 108 dB. Offering a no-branding design, it has a French cleat for wall mounting to a wall and four M6 points for removable feet for floor placement.
