Reference Point Arrays: Renkus Heinz Offers Full Line Of Plug 'N Play Solutions

Foothill Ranch, CA – Renkus Heinz Reference Point Arrays (RPAs) the "plug 'n play" loudspeaker array solution, are now available throughout the entire Renkus Heinz product line. RPA design process integrates TRAP (True Array Principle) technology with system specific electronics to produce arrays that act as an acoustic point source over the full frequency range.

A first in the industry, Reference Point arrays make the benefits of optimized cluster performance available to all sound contractors. Before Reference Point Arrays, the design and application of well performing clusters required sophisticated test and measurement equipment, powerful signal processing and a great deal of time, effort and skill on the part of the system designer and installer. Now RPA clusters come ready to hang, plug in and play, making the choice of utilizing a cluster for an installation simple and cost effective, and allowing designers and installers to focus on optimizing performance rather than making the system function.

With RPA electronic processing, the entire signal chain from line level input to cluster output is optimized for even and controlled coverage at all frequencies. Signal processing parameters, including crossovers, equalization, micro-delays and frequency shading where required, are precisely adjusted by RH Engineering in the company's test and measurement facility.

To further simplify their application, RPA arrays come with rigging/flying hardware that ensures precise spacing and orientation of all acoustic sources within the cluster. Also supplied are pre-wired interconnect cables that prevent signal flow and polarity errors during installation. And, for ultra reliable, long term operation every individual driver in the cluster is effectively and unobtrusively protected against all conceivable overload conditions by patented protection circuits.

Renkus Heinz now offers a full range of complete systems that install quickly and act as coherent acoustic sources. The new TRX Series RPAs, the TRX121T and TRX151T, deliver smooth, seamless, horizontal coverage from 80 degree to 160 degree. Active powered PN121T and PN151T and externally powered PNX121T and PNX151T RPAs are engineered for reference quality output. For large venues and high output portable applications, Renkus Heinz’s ST Series RPAs use the patented CoEntrant transducer to reproduce midrange and high frequencies from a single point source.
