New
board members. At Winter NAMM 2003, several NAMM members were elected
for service to the board of directors, beginning in 2003 through 2006.
Chairman Stephen West also thanked several outgoing board members for
their years of service and contributions.

Weigh
in on education. NAMM announced that the annual “Best 100 Communities
for Music Education” survey is already in progress. You can vote
online by using our direct link. In 2002, New York and Pennsylvania sent
the most communities to the Best 100 list. |

was a benefit concert honoring Elton John, who performed along with an
