PSW presents WebExpo

ProSoundWeb's WebExpo is a series of virtual trade shows to be held online in conjunction with the professional audio and lighting industry’s “brick & mortar” shows. The first show, WebExpo Audio Engineering 2001, will debut on November 23rd and run through the end of the year.

The ProSoundWeb team conceived of WebExpo as an online tool for pro audio and lighting professionals. WebExpo will allow online visitors to gain information about upcoming tradeshows and the products and technology that will debut there quickly and easily. Not only will the WebExpo homepage contain traditional information about the corresponding physical show (dates, locations etc…), but it will also feature editorial about events at the show along with noteworthy product, application and technology news. ProSoundWeb editors are scheduled to report live from each show with news bulletins and updates.

WebExpo exhibitors will have online “booths” cleverly disguised as custom web pages linked to both the online WebExpo exhibitor listing and to the exhibitors website. The “booth” will feature new product/news releases, downloadable .pdf’s and photographs, along with any other informational materials that the exhibitor would like to make available to our online attendees.

For those attending the physical trade show, WebExpo will provide an ideal way to prospect exhibitors and products. For those unable to attend the show, it will allow them to peruse WebExpo booths for new products and technology from the convenience of their computers. For manufacturers that do not exhibit at the physical show, WebExpo provides the perfect opportunity to exhibit online and provide our online visitors with new product information and company updates.

Even after the physical show draws to a close, ProSoundWeb visitors can re-visit the current WebExpo show for an additional two weeks. After that all WebExpo shows will be archived on the site with easy access.

In addition to WebExpo Audio Engineering 2001, ProSoundWeb will be hosting online WebExpos that will correspond with NAMM 2002, NSCA 2002, and LDI 2002. ProSoundWeb is an international web portal dedicated to the professional audio and lighting industries. ProSoundWeb currently average 80,000+ unique visitors and more than 1.4 million page views a month.
