Two Students Receive Bosch Scholarships Through NSCA Education Foundation

John Hayes and Jesse Ashby have been named the recipients of the 2009 Robert Bosch Scholarships through the NSCA Education Foundation. These $2,500 scholarships are granted to students pursuing careers in the electronic systems industry or a related field. Hayes attends Columbia College Chicago and is working toward a bachelor’s degree in Audio Arts and Acoustics. He gained valuable, hands-on experience installing sound systems into a variety of commercial settings, and is anxious to contribute to the sound installation industry…

NSCA Announces New Online Entry-Level Class Providing Practical Knowledge Of Audio Systems

A recent poll here at ProSoundWeb asked, “The one thing I’d like to see the return of, or at least more of, in sound reinforcement is…” Response choices included tube electronics, rotary faders, loud/distorted audio, wired-only microphones, and wedges only (no IEM).
