My Big Stupid Recording Failure
Joe Gilder
02/09/12 11:46 AM,
This article is provided by Home Studio Corner. Once upon a time, Joe made a stupid mistake. I was recording a bunch of acoustic guitar tracks for an album project. I was super-excited. I had set aside an entire afternoon to knock out all the songs. Also, I had just gotten a brand new microphone, and was going to use it along with another mic to record the guitar in stereo. Mike Sokol
02/09/12 11:14 AM,

PSW Staff
02/09/12 10:33 AM,
The Rose Theatre in Brampton, Ontario, is a confident combination of glass and brick that boldly reflects the city’s pride. When it opened in 2006, the theatre came equipped with a brand new loudspeaker system but, as technical coordinator Trevor Nash explains, all was not rosy in the garden. “Plans on paper don’t always successfully translate into real world situations,” Nash says. “There were coverage issues in several areas of the auditorium. Although adding ground stacked subwoofers and 2-way cabinets…
