L-Acoustics has announced its 2009 training seminar schedule, with seminars designed for both technicians and mixing engineers and encompassing the fundamental aspects of Wavefront Sculpture Technology (WST), system integration, setup and design. Specifically, sessions cover L-Acoustics product lines KIVA, dV-DOSC, KUDO and V-DOSC, as well as the LA amplified controller platform and LA NETWORK MANAGER software. North American seminars are being offered in Oxnard, California and Phoenix, Arizona, while international training will take place at L-Acoustics headquarters in Marcoussis, France…

Rat Sound Systems recently joined the L-Acoustics K1/KUDO Pilot Program with select other companies like Firehouse Productions, Sirius, and Black Box, and as a result, took delivery of a stadium-sized sound reinforcement system primarily comprised of 48 new K1 enclosures, 16 K1-SB subwoofers, 16 LA-RAK touring racks loaded with LA8 amplified controllers, and 24 SB28 subs. An L-Acoustics V-DOSC system has been used for the 35th anniversary show of Höhner, a German folk music band, at the 14,000-capacity Lanxess Arena, Cologne.
